Is there any scholarship available to go to a private school from 9th-12th grade?
I want to attend american Heritage school in plantation, florida to complete my high school, I want to know if I can apply to any scholarship besides McKay scholarship.
The first step is to see the financial aide officer of Heritage school for referrals, advice, and information; chances are, this is where the McKay scholarship comes from. Other than that, you are probably looking at some type of foundation money. I don’t know that much exists for K-12. Does the Heritage school have a specialty program such as music, etc… that you are interested in? If so, you might begin by looking at foundations that support that area of specialty.
I know that when folks are looking for college scholarships, they are encouraged to apply for anything and everything they can afford to apply for. If I were unable to find high school scholarship programs, I would apply to those institutions that provide college scholarships for as long as I could afford to. Some require an application fee and even stamps start to get expensive. I would be looking at private sources that would be more able to bend the rules should something come up that catches their eye.
