How could a scholarship help a student reach their academic goals?

I have to answer this question on a scholarship form, but I have no idea what to write. Can you give me some general ideas that could help me?

the key to this is to lie. seriously. say that it will help a person because if they can’t academically get to where they want to be a scolarship can be like a back door into the college or watever. its common knowledge just bluff ur way through it talk bullshit and it will be fine. say how u think a scolarship cud help someone.
